Manchester United have made the decision to part ways with Anthony Martial following the expiry of his contract this summer.
The Frenchman has been troubled by injuries throughout the campaign and he is currently on the sidelines after a groin surgery.
There is currently no return date for the former Monaco man, and there is a possibility that he may not play again for the club.
Fabrizio Romano now reveals that the decision has been made to release Martial when his contract concludes on June 30.
United are planning to recruit a new centre-forward to support Rasmus Hojlund, but there are no stand-out targets for now.
The club have been linked with the likes of Joshua Zirkzee and Benjamin Sesko, but they are looking for someone experienced.
Brentford star Ivan Toney could be a potential candidate for the Red Devils. He could be signed for a low fee of around £40 million.
Aside from Martial, United are also expected to offload a number of other senior players as they look to recoup funds for summer spending.
